A technical visit to the Haberturk.com newsroom was organized by the Department of New Media and Communication. During the event held on Thursday, December 18, 2025, students who participated had the opportunity to observe the operational processes of a professional broadcasting platform on site and to witness the stages of news production for digital media.

In cooperation with the Department of New Media and Communication, New Media and Communication Club and Kültür Point, the "Career Method in New Media-3: Alumni Panel" event was organized on Monday, May 13, 2024. Our experienced graduates Yaprak Kordu (Tooplay - Jr. Sales Specialist), Gizem Kaycan (IKU Department of Corporate Communications - Graphic Design Assistant Specialist) and Buse Derin (Omg! Communication - Social Media and Content Specialist) joined as speakers to the event moderated by Lecturer Mert Efe Anğın.
