İstanbul Kültür University Faculty of Art and Design was opened with the Decree Law No. 24409 dated May 22, 2001 published on the Official Gazette. New Media and Communication Department was decided to be opened with the letter dated April 28, 2016. New Media and Communication Department, which was established in 2016 within the Faculty of Art and Design, started to accept students in the 2016-2017 academic year.
