A seminar titled “The Ethics of Online Journalism” was held by the Department of New Media and Communications on Wednesday, April 26. Üsküdar University Faculty of Communication Dean Prof.  Dr.  Süleyman İrvan attended the seminar held virtually on Microsoft Teams as the speaker.  In the seminar, ethical dilemmas and the underlying causes in online journalism were discussed by taking a look at certain examples.

A seminar titled "The Future and Artificial Intelligence in Business" was held on Tuesday, December 6, by the Department of New Media and Communications. Computer Engineer Yüksel Eminoğlu from ProjeSoft Technology company attended the event held in the multi-purpose seminar hall of the Faculty of Art and Design as a speaker. In the event, which attracted the attention of the students of the "Innovation and Digital Entrepreneurship" course, up-to-date information on brands and artificial intelligence strategies in the field of advertising and marketing were shared.

Department of New Media and Communications held a talk titled “The Importance of Networking Competencies in Career Journey” on Wednesday, April 20. The guest of the event, which was held at the Art and Design Faculty Multi-Purpose Seminar Hall with the participation of department students and lecturers, was Relationship Network Development Specialist Erdal Uzunoğlu. Uzunoğlu shared his knowledge and experience on establishing and developing a network of relationships in business life.
