The aim of the Graduation Project in İstanbul Kültür University Department of New Media and Communication is to enable students to produce a project in line with their knowledge and experience gained in theoretical and applied fields during their four years of education. Students prepare their graduation projects within the scope of the 7th and 8th-semester courses in the program syllabus, Graduation Project I course with YM0001 code and Graduation Project II course with YM0002 code.

The stages of study related to the project to be prepared by the students under the guidance of their advisors are given below; 

1. General information about the content of the project
2. General information about scientific research methods, project writing rules, presentation techniques in order to carry out the project properly
3. Determination of the problems that may occur during the implementation phase as a result of the discussions on the project subjects after the determination of the project subjects and discussion
4. Examining the sample projects and determining the general flow of the project and reporting the information obtained as a result of the researches carried out
5. Conducting research on the applications to be carried out based on the reported information about the project
6. Developing ideas about application studies
7. Reviewing the implementation drafts
8. Discussing the implementation drafts
9. Putting the applied studies into report form and preparing a presentation and preparing the necessary outputs related to the study
10. Organizing project presentations and submitting them for the jury’s evaluation
