The Faculty of Art and Design, where the applied courses of New Media and Communication Department are conducted, has 1 PC and 2 Mac laboratories. All workshops have a capacity of 30 students. Computer/software programs used by New Media and Communication Department students are as follows.
AUTOCAD:
It is used for creating conceptual designs and visuals.
ADOBE PHOTOSHOP:
In addition to enabling vector drawings, Adobe Photoshop Program is used for photo editing, creating static designs, Web interface design, advertising, and visual arrangements.
ADOBE ILLUSTRATOR:
Adobe Illustrator is a graphics editor that allows creating and editing vector drawings.
ADOBE AFTER EFFECTS:
Though Adobe After Effects program focuses more on visual effects, motion graphics, and color editing, it is a video editing and after effects program used for basic montage and various animations.
ADOBE INDESIGN:
Adobe Indesign is a program used in the preparation of books, magazines, newspapers, catalogs, brochures, business cards, calendars, and similar prints until the printing process.
ADOBE PREMIERE PRO.:
Adobe Premiere Pro. Program is used for movie editing, Digital Video (DV) creation, beautifying and editing video products.
3D STUDIO MAX:
The computer program developed by Autodesk is generally used for creating a three-dimensional design, modeling, and animation. 3D Studio Max is one of the most widely used programs in 3D modeling where realistic 3D models can be created with advanced graphics processing technology.
NOTEPAD++:
Notepad++ program, which is an improved version of the standard notepad tool installed on Windows operating systems, enables coding languages such as html, css, php, js to be more understandable and easy to use.
FILLEZILLA CLIENT: FileZilla is one of the FTP tools that allows you to transfer files between the host and the computer. With the program, the files of the web site on the server can be accessed, new files can be created, or any file can be downloaded.
XCODE:
Xcode is a program used for developing software for MacOS, iOS, watchOS, and tvOS systems.
AUTODESK MAYA:
Maya program allows 3D animation, modeling, and visual effects works.
JAVA:
Java software is used for the purpose of writing software on one platform and running it on another virtual platform; creating programs that will work with Web browser and accessible Web services; developing server applications for online forums, stores, surveys, processing HTML forms, and more; merging applications and services using the Java language to create highly customized applications and services; programming powerful and efficient applications for mobile phones, remote processors, microcontrollers, wireless modules, sensors, gateways, consumer products and nearly all electronic devices.
JAVA SCRIPT:
It is a program used in decorating, developing and creating ease of use of Web pages within the developing technology.
